Healthy Recipe for a Kid



Thsi healthy recipe for a kid takes an old favorite--tacos--and gives them a twist:



TACO OF THE SEA

- Small tortillas (warmed in the microwave)

- Any fish of your choice--a white fish like cod or snapper is good. Steam, bake or pan fry the fish and then flake into pieces.

- Canned salsa verde

- Red onion, chopped

- Cilantro, chopped

Combine the fish, salsa, onion and cilantro and spoon into the soft, warm tortillas. Garnish with avocado and sour cream, if desired. Fold and eat!

This is a very tasty and healthy alternative to ground beef tacos in the hard shells. Try serving these with an avocado-orange-fennel salad for a light, refreshing and delicious dinner!
