Easy Dinner Recipe
for a Kid

Here's an easy dinner recipe for a kid:

CAMPFIRE BEAN BAKE

-1 onion, chopped

-1 lb. bulk sausage (I like Jimmy Dean Hot Sausage*)

-1 15-oz. can crushed tomatos (or tomato sauce)

-2 15-oz. cans beans (I like Kidney, Pinto, Great Northern, etc.)

-1 Tbs. mustard

-2 Tbs. brown sugar

Brown the meat and saute the onion in the same pan. Drain off the grease.

Add the other ingredients and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes and serve with warm bread or dinner rolls. How's that for easy?

Be sure to take your cowboy hats off at the table!

Variations: *You may also use any kind of sausage your kid likes, such as breakfast link, italian, etc. You could even use ground beef or turkey, but sausage has a kickier flavor.
